CarPlay / Android Auto Interface for Ford SYNC 2
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, Camera and A/V interface compatible with select Ford & Lincoln vehicles equipped with the SYNC2 8" screen system. The Ford SYNC2 interface lets you use the most popular apps from your smartphone (iMessage, Spotify, Waze, WhatsApp, Google Maps and more) right on the factory touch screen.

SYNC2 covers 2013-2015 Focus, Mondeo, Kuga, Edge and Taurus. It was a good system for its time with genuinely useful voice control, and owners usually want to keep that while gaining CarPlay. This kit does both: SYNC keeps its voice commands and phone book, and CarPlay arrives as a second source.
SYNC2 cars run the radio and the display as one unit. We take CAN at the APIM connector and loop the video, so SYNC voice control and the factory phone system keep working exactly as before.
