What is a wireless CarPlay interface?
A CarPlay interface (also sold as a CarPlay module, CarPlay box, CarPlay upgrade, multimedia interface, video interface or CarPlay solution) is a small box that adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to factory car screens that originally only support wired CarPlay or no CarPlay at all. It connects behind the head unit using vehicle-specific harnesses and CAN bus integration.
Is Autoconnekt a manufacturer or a trading company?
We design and engineer in-house, and build with a dedicated production partner. That means we own the firmware, the fitment data and the quality standard, and ship direct from Shenzhen — with engineering files for over 200 vehicle models. It is why we can take on vehicles that other suppliers tell you do not exist yet.

How is Autoconnekt different from generic CarPlay adapters?
Autoconnekt kits are vehicle-specific (not universal). Each kit is engineered for a single factory infotainment platform, with proper CAN bus integration, OEM-control retention, and reverse-camera add-on. Generic universal adapters cannot match this.
What is your minimum order and lead time?
Three units per vehicle model is the minimum. If you want to test one first, we ship a single unit at the same unit price. Lead time is 3 working days from the day the deposit lands, and a boxed kit weighs around 1 kg. Carton dimensions are confirmed with the quotation, because the box is sized to the kit and its harness.
