GM HMI and CUE systems ran across Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet from roughly 2013 to 2017. These cars were sold in large numbers in North America and the Middle East, and MyLink or CUE without CarPlay is now the main complaint from owners. The kit adds it without disturbing OnStar, climate pages or the factory camera.
GM HMI and CUE systems keep the radio and display together. We decode CAN at the head unit and loop video through the interface, so the factory menus, climate pages and steering-wheel controls stay in charge.
