CarPlay / Android Auto Interface for Honda & Acura dual screen
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and A/V interface compatible with most 2014-2017 Honda & Acura vehicles equipped with two screens and a separate lower knob that controls the top screen. Our Acura interface kit adds wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to your factory radio screen, fully integrated with the OEM knob on the centre console. With our Acura interface you can run the most popular smartphone apps — iMessage, Spotify, Waze, WhatsApp and Google Maps — on the factory upper screen.
Vehicle system: Acura dual-screen
Acura dual-screen cars - RDX, TLX, ILX, RLX and the 2016 RDV - have an 8-inch upper display for information and a lower display for climate and audio. We drive the upper screen for CarPlay and leave the lower one doing its original job, which is how the factory intended the split.
Honda and Acura head units are addressed at the radio, with LVDS carried to the display. On dual-screen cars we drive the upper screen and keep the lower screen on its original functions.
