FCA's 8.4-inch Uconnect unit with side buttons is shared across Chrysler 300C, Jeep Commander, Dodge and Fiat models from 2012-2016, with a 7-inch Harman unit on Jeep Renegade. One radio family, several badges - which means a single kit covers a lot of cars for an importer.
FCA Uconnect radios come with side buttons on the bezel. We take CAN at the radio, loop LVDS to the display and keep Uconnect, climate and the factory camera behaviour intact.
