CarPlay / Android Auto Interface for Porsche CDR31
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, Camera and A/V interface compatible with select Porsche vehicles equipped with the CDR31 system (radios NOT equipped with factory navigation). Our Porsche CDR31 interface kit adds wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to your factory radio, fully integrated with the OEM touchscreen. It also uses the factory microphone and Bluetooth for phone calls. With our Porsche CDR31 interface you can run the most popular smartphone apps — iMessage, Spotify, Waze, WhatsApp and Google Maps — on the factory touchscreen.
Vehicle system: Porsche CDR31
CDR31 is the non-navigation Porsche unit fitted to 2010-2016 Boxster, Cayenne and Panamera. Owners of these cars often want to keep the original look and simply add phone integration, which is exactly what this kit does: the CDR31 face stays in the dash, and CarPlay arrives on the existing 7-inch screen.
PCM and CDR units in these cars use a 7-inch LVDS display with the radio built in. We decode CAN at the head unit and loop the video through, so the PCM menu, the cluster and the steering-wheel roller all behave as before.

Note: Microphone is included in the harness because the factory mic is not always reachable on CDR-based cars.
