Our Mercedes NTG3.5 interface kit adds wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to your factory radio, fully integrated with the OEM controls. It also uses the factory microphone and Bluetooth. Vehicle system: Mercedes NTG3.5 (W221 S-Class)
NTG3.5 is the 2011-2013 W221 S-Class update: same 8-inch display, but the LVDS connector changed from square to round, which is why NTG3.0 and NTG3.5 kits are not interchangeable. We match on the connector, not on the year alone, so the right harness arrives the first time.
The W221 S-Class uses a separate head unit with a square LVDS link to the screen. We take CAN at the radio connector and loop the video through the interface, which is why COMAND and the instrument cluster keep working as one system.
