CarPlay / Android Auto Interface for Mercedes-Benz NTG 6
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, Camera and A/V interface compatible with select Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the NTG6 (MBUX) system. Our Mercedes NTG6 interface adds wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on top of your factory system, so you can use apps like iMessage, Spotify, Waze, WhatsApp and Google Maps with your OEM controls. It also enables smartphone mirroring and USB A/V playback, and supports front and rear cameras with dynamic parking guidelines.
Vehicle system: Mercedes NTG6 (MBUX)
MBUX arrived in 2019 and brought a double-LVDS display with the touch layer integrated. That changes the fitting approach: the interface has to pass touch through as well as video, which is why cheaper single-LVDS kits fail on these cars. This version keeps the factory touchscreen working while adding wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
MBUX uses a double-LVDS display. Our kit sits between the head unit and the panel, decodes CAN in parallel and adds a video source, so the factory touch layer and MBUX menus are untouched.
