CarPlay / Android Auto Interface for BMW CCC
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, Camera and A/V interface compatible with select BMW vehicles equipped with the CCC infotainment system. Our BMW CCC interface kit adds wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to your factory radio, fully integrated with the OEM iDrive knob on the centre console. With our BMW CCC interface you can run the most popular smartphone apps — iMessage, Spotify, Waze, WhatsApp and Google Maps — right on the factory display.
Vehicle system: BMW CCC (iDrive, 2004-2010)
CCC is the first-generation iDrive head unit, fitted to 2006-2009 BMW 3 and 5 Series and to MINI cars with the separate screen and instrument cluster. It is the platform where owners most often decide the car feels old, because the factory system has no phone integration at all. This kit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto while leaving the CCC menu and the iDrive dial exactly where they are.
BMW head units are addressed over the factory CAN bus and the video path is tapped at the LVDS link that feeds the screen, so the car keeps its own menu structure and we simply add a second source the driver can switch to.
