Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, Camera and A/V interface compatible with BMW i3 and i8 vehicles equipped with the NBT infotainment system.

The i3 and i8 use NBT electronics with a specialist LVDS link - the 6.5-inch and 8.8-inch displays are not interchangeable, and generic NBT kits do not work on them. This version is built for those two cars specifically. Electric-vehicle range pages, charging status and the eco displays all stay exactly as they are.
BMW head units are addressed over the factory CAN bus and the video path is tapped at the LVDS link that feeds the screen, so the car keeps its own menu structure and we simply add a second source the driver can switch to.

How it connects: CAN at the NBT head unit; specialised LVDS for the i3 display. Nothing is flashed, nothing is coded, and the factory menu is never overwritten - CarPlay and Android Auto simply become an additional source the driver selects.
