Will installing Autoconnekt void my BMW warranty?
No. Autoconnekt interface is a plug-and-play, non-invasive unit that connects via the original harness and CAN bus. No wires are cut, and the OEM head unit firmware is not modified. You can revert to stock at any time.
Do I need to cut or splice wires?
No. The kit uses a T-harness that plugs between the existing head unit and the factory wiring. Installation is fully reversible.
Will my factory controls still work?
Yes. All original controls—including the iDrive controller, touchpads, dials, and steering-wheel buttons—retain full functionality in both the original system and the CarPlay / Android Auto modes.
How long does the installation take?
Typical installation takes 45–90 minutes. Tools required: plastic trim tools, a T20 Torx bit, and basic hand tools. We provide a vehicle-specific installation guide with every order.
Do you ship worldwide, and what is the warranty?
Yes. Autoconnekt ships direct from Shenzhen worldwide with DHL / FedEx, and we work directly with installers and distributors. Every interface carries a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and faulty units are repaired and returned to you.
What is your minimum order and lead time?
Three units per vehicle model is the minimum. If you want to test one first, we ship a single unit at the same unit price. Lead time is 3 working days from the day the deposit lands, and a boxed kit weighs around 1 kg. Carton dimensions are confirmed with the quotation, because the box is sized to the kit and its harness.
